Who we are and what we do
We specialize in sweet and juicy berries: strawberries, blueberries, raspberries and blackberries (sorry, no marionberries.) We are one of the very few "organic" u-pick berry farms in the Williamette Valley, and the only one that has u-pick strawberries all summer long!
You can pick your own berries or have us pick them for you. Please call in advance to place flat orders.
We also have extra early snap peas from our greenhouse starting in April. By June, ours are done and we replace them with our okra starts. We grow slicing and roma tomatoes, large leaf Italian basil and Israeli cantalope melons inside the greenhouse to help extend their season. Our sweet Walla Walla onions are especially popular with people who like to eat 'onion sandwiches' or fry up onion rings. YUM!

All of our produce is Certified Naturally Grown. That is an "organic" certification for small farmers who sell locally. We follow the same guidelines as the state and federal certifiers: no pesticides, herbicides or chemical fertilizers ever used, but our certification is done by a co-op of farmers across the US.
Please check out the Certified Naturally Grown website for more specific information about the program.

Our farmstand is usually open starting mid-April. Depending on the weather, our hours are Wednesday and Saturday 10am to 2pm. May hours are usually Wednesday through Saturday 10am to 4pm.
Our summer hours start June 1st: Monday through Saturday 10am to 6pm. We start winding down the season in October and close by Halloween.
We have several farm events scattered througout the year. For 2010, our Berry Bash will be held in July. Check back in the Spring for the upcoming events and dates!
Our farm is a great place to bring the entire family. U-picking berries is a wonderful pastime for kids.. big and small alike. We also have goats to pet and chickens to feed. Come enjoy yourself!
Kathy works part-time on the farm. She does the books, advertising and starts the baby plants. Kathy can be seen working on the farm on Saturdays helping customers, weeding and harvesting. She loves cooking and has created lots of recipes for the things that we grow. She has always loved being outside and co-owning a farm is just the ticket.
Gina is the full-time farmer. She is "Jackie of all trades" and does everything on the farm: weeding, irrigation, harvesting, running the farmstand, giving workshops, and tilling and brush hogging (with her big ole Kubota tractor.) She can answer pretty much any kind of farming question you might have.
Gina also has another love besides farming, and that is golfing! She teaches a woman's golf group called the Hot Shots, named after one of the member's rooster.. so you see everything is related in the end. If you'd like to join our group, please call for more information.
